Kakching, August 11 2019: Tailoring machine, Embroidery machine and Corrugated Galvanised Iron (CGI) sheet were distributed to the selected beneficiaries of Kakching kendra in a simple function held at the residence of MLA Kakching AC, Yengkhom Surchandra Singh at Kakching TurelWangma yesterday.The machines and CGI sheets were sanctioned by OBC & Scheduled Caste Department and Minorities Affairs, GoM to improve the life of economically weaker OBC, SC and minority sections.The function to distribute the above machines and CGI sheet was held in the presence of MLA Yengkhom Surchandra as chief guest; president BJP Kakching Mandal, Kshetrimayum Chaoba Singh as functional president; vice-Chairperson Kakching Municipal Council, Ksh Jhalajit; Councillors N Memi, S Premita, Ksh Radhamani, Ksh Anita and vice-president, BJP Kakching Mandal, Sanasam Indurkha Devi as guests of honour.Generel Secretary (Administration), BJP Kakching Mandal, Yengkhom Sanayaima, General Secretary (Organisation) Naorem Shamu and other members were also present in the function.The machines were distributed to 9 beneficiaries each and CGI sheets to 43 beneficiaries for the year 2016-17 and 2017-18 .
